Pop sensation Chappell Roan channeled her inner Shania Twain on Saturday Night Live tonight when she debuted a brand new country-inspired tune “She Gets The Job Done”.
The Missouri native who gave us a summer that was HOTTOGO has been hinting at playing with her rural roots for a while now, but the new track drop came as a complete surprise to even her most die-hard fans. Below is better audio:
After taking the SNL stage as lady Frankenstein for a rocking version of Pink Pony Club, Chappell followed up with a sassy dance-hall style bit of lip service to the ladies who know how to finish the job, and I’ll be honest… it gave me the same vibes as Shania’s mainstream debut back in the 90’s.
