C.S. Armstrong Releases New Mixtape ‘Deep Covers 187’

R&B

C.S. Armstrong has released a mixtape of covers titled Deep Covers 187. It is available for streaming on Audiomack.

Among the remakes on the mixtape are H.E.R.’s platinum-selling single “Damage” and SZA’s hit standalone track “Good Days.” Courtesy of an acoustic guitar, finger snaps, and raspy, slothful vocals, Armstrong also puts his spin on Solange’s Grammy-winning “Cranes in the Sky.”

Deep Covers 187 also includes the previously shared take on “Limit To Your Love” performed by Feist and James Blake, respectively. Armstrong’s soulful rendition can only be streamed via Audiomack and streaming platforms everywhere.

Earlier this year, Armstrong inked a deal with Republic Records, where he issued “Own Two,” the major-label debut single from his forthcoming debut album. The song featured Jay Rock.
