After much anticipation, Brent Faiyaz has revealed the release date and other details for his third album,Icon.
His new album will release Feb. 13 via ISO Supremacy/UnitedMasters. The 10-track set, executive produced by Raphael Saadiq, is led by “Have To,” which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart this week — and No. 1 on Mediabase’s R&B Radio chart last week.
It’s worth noting the previously shared “Peter Pan” and “Tony Soprano” are not included in the current tracklist.
The featureless album includes production by Faiyaz, Saadiq, Chad Hugo, Benny Blanco, Dpat, Jordan Ware, Dilip, Tommy Richman and more, with mixing by Itai Schwartz and mastering by Mike Dean.

Icon was originally scheduled to release on Sept. 19, 2025, but Faiyaz canceled it at the last minute. His “Have To” video included context about the album’s delay.
“Brent Faiyaz had ICON recorded and scheduled to release on September 19, 2025. The night before, Brent sent us a group text pulling the plug on the album,” the message read. “He also had another lead single and music video. He scrapped those too, then sent us this.”
Iconwill be available in both digital and physical formats. Per Faiyaz’s webstore, the album will be available on cassette and CD, with a variety of box sets.
Icon will follow 2022’s WASTELAND, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 88,000 units in its first week.
