Brandy Shares New Song ‘Until My Final Breath’

R&B

ABC’s Queens is becoming more of a must-watch with each new episode. Not just because of the intense drama unfolding but also because of the new music that is released.

Episode eight of the series features an emotional new song titled “Until My Final Breath,” which is performed by Brandy

It was written by Ruby Amanfu and includes additional vocals from the legendary Troy Taylor, Matthew Head, and Ryan Jumper.

The touching lyrics focus on an unfortunate situation revolving around Brianna, aka Professor Sex, and the friendship and bond the hip-hop band members share with her.

“You were there for me, when no one else would take my calls / My family, when my own blood wanted me gone / It’s not been easy / But you’ve been here to help me grow / And I never would’ve made it without you / I hope you know,” sings Brandy.

“Until My Final Breath” is the latest Brandy offering to be released from Queens. She previously shared covers, “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “Wrecking Ball,” as well as the original tune “Hear Me.”

Aside from Queens music, Brandy has recorded songs like “Somebody’s Son” with Tiwa Savage and “Euphoric” alongside Eric Bellinger.

She also collaborated with Nicole Scherzinger on the theme song for the current season of The View

Brandy last released an album in 2020 called b7. It was named the best R&B album of 2020 by Rated R&B.
