Beyoncé has revealed her upcoming country album is titled Act II: Cowboy Carter. The global star shared the news via an Instagram bio update.

Cowboy Carter will be released on March 29 via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records.

Eight limited editions of the album are available for pre-order on Beyoncé’s official website: two CD box sets (black and red), four vinyls (white, red, blue, black), and two CDs with different cover art.

Cowboy Carter will include the lead single “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and the B-side “16 Carriages,” which peaked at No. 38 on the same chart. It’s worth nothing “Texas Hold ‘Em” also debuted at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, becoming the first song by a Black woman to do so.

Cowboy Carter is the second installment of Beyoncé’s three-act project, which started with 2022’s Act I: Renaissance.

Renaissance debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 332,000 equivalent units sold in the first week.

Additionally, the now-platinum album won Best Dance/Electronic Music Album at the 65th Grammy Awards in 2023. Beyoncé made history as the first Black woman to win a Grammy in that category.

Beyoncé supported the album on her Renaissance World Tour, which grossed over $579 million worldwide.
