The Butcher is coming. More specifically, Benny The Butcher and his “Summer ’25”, which is the first single off his upcoming Summertime Butch 2.
Premiered with its music video, the Watch The Screen-directed clip spots Benny out in Queens where he rides through the city and kicks it with the locals. He raps, “‘Cause last summer was y’all turn / But, this summer, y’all stick-up kids / Bundy had a daughter, Bean back home from that prison bid / The streets need a Griselda album / And, shit, I need a bigger crib.”
Summertime Butch 2 drops July 16. It is the follow-up to 2024’s Summertime Butch and his first project since May’s Excelsior.
