The video for “Drone Corpse Aviator,” Archspire’s latest single, is entertaining as friggin’ hell, and SO so Archspire in a way fans of the band will instantly recognize! It’s got forced medical procedures, a ton of great practical effects, blood and gore, some killer band performance clips and, of course, a tongue-in-cheek attitude throughout.
“Drone Corpse Aviator” as a piece of music alone is also likely my favorite of three songs Archspire have so far release from their forthcoming album, Bleed The Future. It’s got all the things Archspire do so well plus it’s catchy as hell. (The other two singles are “Golden Mouth of Ruin” and “Bleed the Future.“
I’m saying watch this video! Do it now.
