Anthrax Look Back on I’m the Man in New Retrospective Video

Metal

For the tenth episode of their ongoing Anthrax 40 for 40 retrospective video series, the NYC thrash legends discuss their 1987 EP, I’m the Man.

The title track from that EP, I should not have to tell you, is widely considered to be one of the first, if not the first, rap-metal songs.

You can watch the clip below. In addition to the members of Anthrax, it includes interviews with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Rob Zombie, and Run DMC’s DMC.

The band will continue to release three of these videos a week leading up to a special career-spanning livestream performance on July 18 (the band’s actual 40th anniversary).
