Rising singer Amber Mark is back with her new single “Comin’ Around Again” via PMR/Interscope Records.
Over a lush production embellished with a resonant bassline and warm piano, Mark sings about a guy she’s met who could very well end up being a future partner.
“Boy, I ain’t got high hopes / But damn you’re kinda fine though / So let’s see where the night goes / Maybe love’s comin’ around again,” she sings.
While she expresses her attraction to him and gives him her number, Mark makes it clear that she’s not in a hurry to rush things: “I may be into you / But no we’re not together / Let’s take it easy / No diamond, no pressure.”
“Comin’ Around Again” was produced by Eli Teplin, Julian Bunetta, and Two Fresh. The song arrives with a visualizer, captured by by Satya Zoa, which can be viewed below.
“Comin’ Around Again” is Mark’s first single since her 2022 debut album, Three Dimensions Deep. The 17-track set featured the singles “What It Is,” “Foreign Things” and “Softly.”
“The thing, though, that I was most eager to do with this album, in terms of growth and the feeling of metamorphosis or transitioning into a beautiful butterfly, was really just me trying to experiment with as many sounds that I have always dreamt of dabbling in and genres that I dreamt of dabbling in,” Mark told Grammy.com about Three Dimensions Deep.
