Alina Baraz Shares New EP ‘Sunbeam’

R&B

When Alina Baraz goes out on her headlining Alone With You Tour this fall, she’s going to have music from her new EP Sunbeam to play for audiences.

Driven by the prismatic “Alone With You,” Sunbeam features four songs that refine her signature sound with every sedated vocal performance. A highlight is “If You Love Me,” the opening song that invites her interest to let go of fear and trust their love intuition.

According to Baraz’s Instagram post, Sunbeam seems to be the first of many installments to a complete future project.

As the world shut down last spring, Baraz issued her debut album It Was Divine via Mom + Pop. It boasted appearances from various guests, including Nas, 6LACK, Khalid, and Smino.

She started its era in September 2019 with “To Me,” following it up with a streak of ear candy such as “More Than Enough” and “Endlessly.”

Returning the focus to Baraz’s tour in support of Sunbeam, it starts on September 29 in Boston at the House of Blues and runs through October and November. Special guests include Hope Tala and Rini on select dates. Tickets are available now.
