Meek Mill Takes Dream Chasers Nights Beyond Philly With Six-City Run

Meek Mill expanded “Dream Chasers Nights” to six cities, with Boston and Chicago joining the Philadelphia homecoming.

Meek Mill is taking “Dream Chasers Nights” beyond Philadelphia, expanding his hometown concert into a six-city run that stretches from November 24 through December 20.

His official website now lists six cities for the shows. That is a change from the original announcement, which billed the Philadelphia date as a one-night-only homecoming with Live Nation Urban.

The hometown show remains set for November 24 at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Fans outside Philly will also get stops in Boston and Chicago, with Ticketmaster listing December shows in both cities.

Boston’s date is December 5 at MGM Music Hall at Fenway. The show starts at 8 p.m., with doors opening an hour earlier. The event is open to all ages.

Chicago follows on December 18 at Aragon Ballroom, also with a 7 p.m. door time and an 8 p.m. performance. That stop is an all-ages show with general admission standing room.

For Chicago, artist and Citi cardmember presales began October 27 at noon Central time and run through October 29 at 10 p.m. Central. A Live Nation presale starts October 29 at 10 a.m. Central. Those sale times apply to the Chicago date.

The expansion follows another arena show earlier this year. Meek played Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on April 11 with Fabolous and Young M.A. The concert sold out and grossed $520,526, according to Pollstar’s box-office reporting.

Back home, the Dream Chasers name has reached beyond concert stages. Meek hosted the Dream Chasers Sports and Entertainment Summit for young entrepreneurs at the Liacouras Center in September. His record label carries the name, too.

The Philadelphia date also adds to a year of local appearances. He played Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City in June and joined The Roots for a late-night performance at the “One Philly: Unity Concert for America” in July.

His recent music has revisited his early work as well. In July, Meek’s “Nightmares To Dreams” reversed the title of his 2012 song “Dreams And Nightmares.”

Chicago’s general ticket sale opens October 30 at 10 a.m. Central through Ticketmaster. Boston’s general sale starts the same day at 10 a.m. Eastern.
