Black thrash n’ roll motherfuckers Graveripper released a music video for their track “Hounds From Hell” from their 2025 album From Welkin to Tundra earlier today. And if you watch the video posted below and don’t at least feel a little inclined to seek out one of their shows, you should rewatch it and reconsider.
This track wastes absolutely zero time in getting down to business, with killer riffs and explosive rhythms driving everything forward while frontman Corey Parks barks out lyrics like a commanding officer on some war-torn battlefield.
Speaking of the single, the band said the following:
“‘Hounds From Hell’ is a relentless thrasher that wastes no time. A staple of our live set and a standout from our new record, From Welkin to Tundra, the track perfectly captures Graveripper’s signature blend of black and thrash metal—ranging from palm-muted double-bass riffs to icy minor chords set against blistering blast beats. Having recently shared the stage for two shows with the legendary Hirax, we decided to capture that energy and turn the footage into a music video for the track.”
Along with the video’s release, the band also announced a June/July run of shows that’s going to span the Western U.S. Though they’ll first play a show next week in Louisville, Kentucky, the band won’t officially kick off their western U.S. tour until June 12 in Des Moines, Iowa. The whole thing will come to an end after 20 stops, at which point the tour will come to an end on July 4 in Davernport, Iowa. Graveripper are also slated to perform at the Iowa Metal Underground Fest on August 15.
