While Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel aren’t walking down the aisle anytime soon, they are still as in love as ever.
Scott showed his love for his fiancée on Instagram on Tuesday, July 7, by sharing new photos of them. “Yeah… I’m crushin,” he wrote underneath the post, adding a heart eyes emoji.
The post’s first slide featured sweet snaps the two took in a photo booth. Scott followed up the photo with a selfie the couple took while enjoying a meal out, as well as a red carpet pic of the pair at the A Complete Unknown movie premiere in December 2024.
Fans gushed over Scott’s heartfelt post in the comments. “Please just ‘Get married!’” one user quipped. Scott and Deschanel met while filming an episode of Carpool Karaoke with their siblings, Drew Scott and Emily Deschanel, in 2019. They went Instagram official and made their red carpet debut that same year. In 2020, Zooey made her HGTV debut on Jonathan and Drew’s series Celebrity IOU. Scott popped the question in 2023 while the couple was on a trip to Scotland. “Forever starts now!!!” Deschanel captioned an Instagram pic of herself flashing her engagement ring.
Both were previously married before they began their relationship. Deschanel was married to Ben Gibbard from 2009 to 2012 and shares her two kids, Elsie and Charlie, with Jacob Pechenik, to whom she was married from 2015 to 2020. Scott, for his part, was married to Kelsy Ully from 2007 to 2013.
The couple has previously opened up about why they’re in no rush to tie the knot. “We’ve just had a lot of things going on. Maybe that’ll be my New Year’s resolution — we’ve got to get this wedding figured out,” he told People in January 2025.
Deschanel recently paid tribute to Scott on Instagram to celebrate his 48th birthday. “Happy Birthday @jonathanscott, can’t wait to celebrate you. I’m truly so lucky,” she captioned a slideshow of photos of the couple over the years on April 28.
