Dua Lipa,Tame ImpalaandFredAgain.. are reportedly being lined up as headliners for Coachella 2027.

According to a new report from industry publicationHits Daily Double, Lipa and Tame Impala are expected to headline next year’s edition of the California festival.

FredAgain.., meanwhile, isreportedly incontention for the special “Returning to the Desert” position that traditionally appears separately at the bottom of the festival poster.

A further top-billed slot is said to remain open, with BTS, SZA, Oasis and Radiohead all reportedly being pursued. For what it’s worth, the report claims that SZA is currently “way more likely” to secure the position than Oasis or Radiohead.

Miley Cyrusis also said to have beenapproached, butreportedly turneddown the offer.

Coachella has not commented on thespeculationand no artists have yet been officially confirmed for its 2027 line-up.

If the reports proveaccurate, the festivalwouldmark Lipa’s first-ever appearance at Coachella. Her latest albumremains2024’s ‘Radical Optimism’, much of which was produced by Tame Impala’sKevin Parker.

The pair have continued to perform together since its release, withLipa joining Parker at London’s O2 in Mayfor a rendition of their collaboration ‘Houdini’.

Tame Impalahavepreviously appeared at Coachella four times, first playing the festival in 2011 before returning in 2013 and 2015. Parker’s project went on to headline in 2019, shortly before the release of2020album ‘The Slow Rush’.

Their latest record, ‘Deadbeat’, arrived in October 2025 and saw Parker move further into dance and electronic territory.The band are also due to return to the UK and Europe fora run of arena shows with Wet Leg in May and June 2027, shortly after the proposed Coachella dates.

Fred Again.. last appeared at the festival in 2023, when he teamed up with Skrillex and Four Tettoclose its second weekend.The triowereadded to theprogrammeat the last minute afterFrank Oceanwithdrew from weekend two due to injury.

Of the artistsreportedly beingconsidered for the remaining position,BTSwill benearing the end of their huge 2026 and 2027 world tourat the time of the festival.The K-pop group returned earlier this year with ‘ARIRANG’,and theirstadium run is due to conclude in Manila on March 14, less than a month before Coachella begins.

SZA most recently appeared at the festival in April,joining Justin Bieber during his 2026 headline setto perform ‘Snooze’.

Oasis, meanwhile,have been widely tipped to return to the road in 2027following the conclusion of their ‘Live ’25’ reunion tour last November.

Recent reports have suggested thata new UK and European tour could include an extensive Manchester residency and shows at Knebworth, although no dates have been officially announced.

Noel Gallagher added fuel to therumoursearlier today(September 2), when he said in a radio appearance:“Let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”

Radiohead alsohavelive plans for next year, with guitarist Ed O’Briensayingin March that the bandintendtoplay 20 shows on a different continent each year from 2027, following their 2025 comeback tour.

The groupwerealso represented at Coachella this year through ‘Motion Picture House: KID A MNESIA’, a 75-minute audiovisual installation based on artwork created byThom Yorke and Stanley Donwood.

Cyrus’s reported decision to pass on the festival followsher previous comments that she had no “desire” to undertake a full tourbecause of the difficulty ofmaintainingher mental wellbeing on the road.

She has since announced her tenth album, ‘Bass Persuades’, alongside two standalone Hollywood Bowl showsinLos Angelesthis October. No wider tour has been confirmed.

Coachella 2027 will take placeat the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California across the weekends of April 9 to 11 and April 16 to 18.
