Check Out the NSFW Music Video for Jehnny Beths Track Look At Me Featuring Mike Patton

Earlier this week, we reported on the fact that a new collaboration between French post-punk artist and ex-Savages vocalist Jehnny Beth and Mike Patton was on the horizon. The track, dubbed “Look At Me”, was released today and though it’s definitely an interesting piece of music, the video certainly is provocative.

For those that either don’t care about watching this sort of thing at work or in front of common folk, just know that the video for “Look At Me” is sexually charged like a motherfucker. Maybe don’t watch it among good company, is all I’m saying.

When it comes to the song, it absolutely makes sense that Mike Patton would get involved with it. The tune is broad with its style, carrying with it a thumping, almost aggressive electronic beat that at times pushes into the more industrial side of things. Beth whispers her singing in parts before chanting along with Patton.

Beth said Patton was a huge influence on her when she was recording her 2025 album You Heartbreaker, You. So when she and her partner Johnny Hostile decided to write “Look At Me” in two parts, she immediately knew she wanted the ex-Faith No More vocalist on the track.

“When Mike sent his vocals it was like choosing candy in a candy store, he had a million ideas, it was mind blowing.”

As for the meaning of the track, Beth said it was about “the modern sellers of truth, who share their opinion online on how to ‘better oneself,’ giving an illusion of control — but all they really want is to be the centre of attention.”
