Track Premiere: Total Maniac – Early Grave

Baltimore-based street metal crüe Total Maniac are back and sleazier than ever on their new album, Love Overdrive. Written and styled like they came straight off the streets of ’80s California, songs like “Early Grave,” which you can stream below, are driven by thrashy guitars and fist-pumping, shout-sung choruses. The production from Kevin Bersten at Developing Nations beefs up the tunes, underscoring the metal side of their metal-punk sound.

The meaning of the song is pretty simple, according to Total Maniac:

“It’s a straight forward rocker, a four on the floor fist pumper. If I’m going to die any time soon, I’m just glad there’s a decent song to provide the soundtrack.”

We hope that the members of Total Maniac stick around a long time, but you’d best not waste any time and get on it now.Love Overdriveis out on March 27 via Bandcamp.
