The release marked Williams’ firstnew musicsince she became an independent artist when her record deal with Warner/Atlantic ended.
NMEgave the record aglowing five-star review, which read: “As withalmost everyera of Hayley Williams’ career, this new release has come withquestions about the future of Paramore. The determined lyrics on the tender ‘I Won’t QuitOnYou’ should be all the reassurance worried fans need, but ifthat’snotenough, there’splenty inthis brilliant, swaggering new chapter to be excited about. These songs might be about missed second chances, but Williams is certainly making the most of hers.”
It also went on to be named asthe ninth best album of theyearinNME’s end of year list.
She is set tohead out on a world tour next month, taking in dates in North America, Europe and the UK. It begins in Atlanta on March 27 and will see her playing two dates each in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin in June. See all of the dates hereand find any remaining UK ticketshere.
