Ah, the holidays. What better time to get together with friends you haven’t seen in a while, play a little game, and ingest insanely hot chicken wings that make you question your existence? At least, that’s the scenario Insane Clown Posse’s Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J and GWAR’s Blöthar the Berserker and Balsac the Jaws of Death found themselves in when they participated in a special holiday version of Hot Ones Versus.
For those unfamiliar with the show, competitors sit across from one another and answer trivia questions. Get it wrong and you have to eat a “death wing” coated in one of Hot Ones’ signature firey sauces. It makes for a great time and spoiler: Violent J doesn’t take too well to the heat. The two teams battle over five rounds and whoever has the most points at the end is the winner.
Given the personalities on display in this video, it’s definitely a fun watch. Even though I can’t stand ICP’s music, they seem like super down to Earth dudes that I’d enjoy sharing a Faygo with. As for GWAR, they’re great as always and they take the heat like champs — for the most part.
