Mario Releases New Song Home

R&B

As Mario prepares to release hisMood SwingsEP, the singer has unwrapped his new single “Home.”

Produced by Dre Moon, Anthony Bell and Courtlin Jabrae, “Home” finds Mario yearning to return to his abode where his woman is. As someone whose career requires him to be away, it’s the love that awaits him that keeps him grounded and gives him something to look forward to upon his return.

“Kissing and touching with no interruption / You’re ready for love / Baby, I’m coming home to you,” a passionate Mario croons.

“Home” is the follow-up to “Nobody But Us,” released in mid-September. Both songs will appear on Mario’s new EP, Mood Swings, which releases Nov. 14 via New Citizen/EMPIRE. The eight-track set includes a feature from Ty Dolla $ign, who previously collaborated with him on 2023’s “Used To Me.”

Mood Swings follows his 2024 album, Glad You Came, released under Epic Records. Speaking on the latter, Mario told Rated R&B, “The album’s title, Glad You Came, represents a full compass for me when it comes to bringing everything back to the center. That’s my love for music, my journey [and] my connection with my fans. [I am] reintroducing them to this new era of Mario and celebrating this era, journey and R&B. It is an invitation.”

Mario, who appears on Kehlani’s Folded Homage Pack, is set to kick off his Nothing But Us Touron Nov. 13 in Richmond. The 13-city tour will visit major cities in the U.S. and Canada, including New York, Chicago, Toronto, Atlanta, Houston and more before wrapping up Dec. 9 in Los Angeles.
