Savannah Ré is feeling full of love in her new single “Hold You,” which is out via Matrimony Records.
Produced by her husband YogiTheProducer (Chris Brown, Kehlani), “Hold You” embraces the power of touch and the closeness it brings two lovers behind closed doors. “Since I get the chance to hold you / Wish that I could show you / Just how good it is to hold you,” sings Ré.
Regarding “Hold You,” Ré notes, “This song is simply about being thankful for the partner you have in your life. That feeling of being seen and being cared for is not something I take for granted. Anyone blessed to have a partner you can surrender to and still feel safe doing so should be thankful every day.”
“Hold You” is Ré’s first release since dropping her album Formed in May. “Formed was initially going to be the Part II to my last EP, No Weapons, then my life completely changed in so many ways! I became completely independent and began walking a completely different path,” Ré explained.
