After much anticipation, Kehlani has delivered herFolded Homage Pack, a collection of remixes of her hit single “Folded” featuring some of the biggest names in R&B. The EP includes guest appearances from Toni Braxton, Brandy, Ne-Yo, Mario, Tank and JoJo.
Each remix of “Folded” beautifully highlights the signature qualities that made fans fall in love with the artists: Braxton’s commanding voice; Brandy’s celestial ad-libs and lush harmonies; Ne-Yo’s vivid storytelling; Tank’s seductive charm; Mario’s silky vocals; and JoJo’s well-studied delivery.
The majority of the remixes were previously teased on social media, except for Ne-Yo, who was revealed as a surprise when Kehlani announced the EP.

Kehlani’s intention with this set of remixes feels more out of love and respect for the artists who came before her than an attempt to simply bolster the brewing hit.
While she occasionally collaborates with her contemporaries, she’s been consistent with working with her musical heroes, including Mariah Carey (“Sugar Sweet“), Musiq Soulchild (“Footsteps“), Jill Scott (“Sucia”), T-Pain (“I Like Dat“) and Keyshia Cole (“All Me“).
“Folded” was released June 11 via Atlantic Records. The nostalgic track, produced by Andre Harris, D.K. the Punisher, Don Mills and Khris Riddick-Tynes, has thus far reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay and No. 18 on the Hot 100, making it her biggest hit on the latter chart. It also reached No. 1 at urban radio, marking Kehlani’s first No. 1 on that airplay format.
As “Folded” continues to gain steam, Kehlani has been busy in the studio working on her next album with producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Ryan Leslie, Pop Wansel, and more.

Kehlani’s upcoming album will follow her Grammy-nominated album Crash (2024) and While We Wait 2, the sequel to her 2019 mixtape, released just two months after the former.
As for all the special guests on the EP, they’re all busy flourishing in their own way. Braxton, whose last albumSpell My Namewas released in 2020, recently wrapped up her Las Vegas residency with comedian Cedric The Entertainer. Brandy just launched her co-headlining The Boy Is Mine Tourwith Monica — and is set to publish her first memoir,PHASES, in spring 2026. Jojo kicked off 2025 with her EPNGL before embarking on a headlining tour.
Further, Mario released his latest single, “Nobody But Us,” in September. It’s his first musical release since closing out 2024 with his album Glad You Came, executive produced by James Fauntleroy. In 2024, Ne-Yo started his new journey as an independent artist after parting ways with Motown Records, releasing his first pair of singles, “2 Million Secrets” and “Show Me.”
Tank, who joined Alicia Keys’ Hell’s Kitchen Musicalon Broadway earlier this year for a limited run, earned his 10th No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart last month and is set to reunite with TGT members Tyrese and Ginuwine at a show in Los Angeles on Nov. 22.
