FALLON, formerly of the R&B group Cherish, has released her new single “Papercut.”
On the R&B-pop track, FALLON pulls out a first aid kit to mend the wounds of a short-lived romance. “I didn’t think that it would hurt this much,” she sings.
Speaking on “Papercut,” FALLON exclusively tells Rated R&B, “A papercut is that situationship you didn’t think would hurt, but ends up cutting you the deepest. We’ve all given someone a chance who didn’t deserve it, and they end up breaking your heart — like, how?”

“Papercut” is the second single from FALLON’s upcoming EP, Both Sides. The project will also include the lead single, “Hate You.”
Regarding the latter kiss-off track, she told Rated R&B, “The song is for everyone who’s been through a bad relationship, who came out the other side stronger and better.”
She added, “I was reflecting after coming out of a long relationship, and couldn’t believe how much of myself I sacrificed for a man who was only out for himself. That song was my ‘f—k you’ moment!”
Both Sideswill mark FALLON’s first solo project.
