In anticipation of his The Gentlemen’s Club album, YG releases his latest single “Lovers Or Friends” featuring Leon Thomas.
The choreographic and the black-and-white clip centers YG pondering toward his lady of interest if they are ready to make it official from the friend zone.
“Baby, tell me what you wanna hear / Baby, tell me what I wanna know,” he raps alongside Leon who provides the hook. “My best friend wanna fuck me, wait / Tell me how that’s finna go,” he continues alongside his band, dancers, and a Michael Jackson impersonator.
The Gentleman’s Clubis set to release on October 3 and will also feature the previous singles “Hollywood” and “2004“.
