Chris Brown has officially kicked off a new era with his song “Holy Blindfold.” It was co-produced by The Monsters & Strangerz, Jonathan Bellion, and Tenroc.
On the breezy track, Brown sings about the euphoric rush of being lost in love.
“Let the sky fall / If I’m lookin’ at you, then my lens is a rose / Holy blindfold / When I’m lookin’ at you, God rest my soul,” he sings in the chorus.
“Holy Blindfold” is Brown’s first single since releasing his Grammy-winning project 11:11 (Deluxe), which took home the trophy for Best R&B Album. The project, which includes his Grammy-nominated, No. 1 hit “Residuals,” was released in April 2024 as an extension to his 2023 album 11:11.
The latter project debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart. It also opened at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, continuing Brown’s streak of having all his studio albums debut in the top 10 on this chart.

Following the release of the 11:11 (Deluxe), the standard album soared back to the top 5 on the R&B Albums chart. It also jumped 82 spots on the Billboard 200.
“Holy Blindfold” arrives amid his sold-out Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour, which kicked off June 8 in Amsterdam. The first leg, which will visit cities across Europe and the U.K., has upcoming stops in Manchester, Cardiff, London, Dublin and Glasgow. It’ll wrap up July 5 in Paris.
The North American leg launches July 30 in Miami with stops in Detroit, Toronto, Atlanta, Los Angeles and more. The tour concludes Oct. 8 at his second show in Washington, D.C. It’s worth noting that several of the dates — on both legs — include multiple nights in the same city. (A list of upcoming tour dates is available below.)
TheBreezy Bowl XX Stadium World Touris in celebration of Brown’s 2005 self-titled debut album, which turns 20 in November. The iconic album included hits such as “Run It!” featuring Juelz Santana, “Yo (Excuse Me Miss)” and “Say Goodbye.”

At the 2025 BET Awards, which aired Monday night (June 9), Brown won Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and the Viewer’s Choice Award for “Residuals.”
In other news, Brown recently received over 20 new RIAA certifications, which included “Loyal” and “Forever,” both certified 8x platinum for selling over eight million equivalent units in the U.S., plus a platinum award for “Residuals,” which has sold over one million units since its release.
