The West vs Joey Bada$$ continues into a new week with the release of Daylyt’s “WRD2MIMVA”.
Over a flip of the “Hovi Baby” instrumental, the Los Angeles lyricists comes to the defense of his fellow West Coasters with some scathing bars for Joey Bada$$.
Daylyt begins, “The issue is, Dot didn’t tell you it’s two boogeymans / The big three could attest to all the things that I’ve done / You said I’m zero, oh, that’s cool / I still come in front of the one,” before ruthlessly ending it with “Play for you kids crew / Sacrifice you big goof / If the world knew whatniggas knew about you, they would jump off a bridge too.”
“WRD2MIMVA” comes on the heels of last week’s back-and-forth between Joey’s “The Finals” and Red BullSpiral Freestyle and Ray Vaughn’s “Hoe Era”.
