Track Premiere: Pentagram – “Dull Pain”

Metal

The infamous Pentagram‘s highly anticipated 10th record, Lightning in a Bottle, will be out January 31 via Heavy Psych Sounds. The record features famed frontman and figurehead Bobby Liebling, guitarist/producer Tony Reed (Mos Generator, Big Scenic Nowhere, etc.), drummer Henry Vasquez (Legions of Doom, Saint Vitus, Blood of the Sun, etc.) and bassist Scooter Haslip (Mos Generator, Saltine).

About the song, guitarist Tony Reed says, “‘Dull Pain’ was written during the first of two writing sessions Henry and I did for the new album. Of the new songs, I feel like it’s the closest to having the early Pentagram sound. We presented Bobby with quite a few demos for him to choose from and he came into the studio with his lyric book and nailed this song quickly. It was impressive to witness. We had a great musical connection and working relationship immediately and you can hear it across the whole album.”
