Josh Turner gets a unique opportunity to sing for NASA astronauts while they’re in outer space!
Sure, country music is broadcasted via satellite all around the world so technically, it’s all been in the stratosphere by now, but how many artists can say they personally performed for an interstellar audience? Well now at least Josh Turner can mark that off his bucket list!
In a video posted to his social media, Turner shared a day in his life that was anything but ordinary. While heading to a gig, he revealed that this performance was unlike any he had done before— he was invited by NASA to perform at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, for the astronauts currently in space.
“This is kind of a one of a kind gig for me,” Turner said in a clip of the video. “We were already here in Texas so we figured we’d swing by and sing a little country music for the astronauts.”
