Usher’s latest single “Ruin,” featuring Pheelz, has entered multiple Billboard charts this week.
The R&B/Afrobeats tune, produced by Pheelz, opens at No. 8 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart. It tallies Usher’s 19th top 10 hit on this chart.

Elsewhere on Billboard, “Ruin” debuts at No. 11 on the Hot R&B Songs chart. According to Billboard, the chart is “ranked by streaming activity data by online music sources tracked by Luminate, radio airplay audience impressions as measured by Mediabase and provided by Luminate, and sales data as compiled by Luminate.”
Usher last scored a top 10 on the Hot R&B Songs chart in 2023 with “Good Good” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage. The Mel & Mus-produced track peaked at No. 3 last September.
On the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, “Ruin” enters at No. 23.
At the time of publication, “Ruin” has 3.7 million streams on Spotify. The official video, filmed on an iPhone 15, has 2.5 million views on YouTube.
“Ruin” was released a week ahead of Usher’s ninth album, Coming Home, out now via mega/gamma. The song arrived with five remixes and an instrumental version.
Coming Home was released Feb. 9, just two days before his exceptional Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show presented by Apple Music. The album includes appearances by The-Dream, Summer Walker, 21 Savage, H.E.R., Latto, Burna Boy and Jung Kook.
“COMING HOME is an ode to going back to your roots, whatever or wherever that may be,” Usher explained. “I’m COMING HOME to where I’m comfortable in being exactly who I am right now. My hope is that you identify with the new album no matter where you are or what you’re going through, too.”
In other news, Usher recently received over 30 new RIAA certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. His updated RIAA awards include Confessions (14x platinum), “Yeah!” (13x platinum), 8701 (5x platinum) and many more.
Later this summer, Usher will embark on his Past Present Future Tour. The 51-date tour kicks off Aug. 16 in Atlanta, Georgia at State Farm Arena, and concludes Nov. 27 at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
