Usher has announced his Past Present Future Tour dates.
The 24-city North American leg kicks off Aug. 20 at Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C. From there, Usher will perform shows in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Toronto, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Miami and Atlanta.
The tour will conclude Oct. 29 at United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Presale tickets will be available for Citi cardmembers and Verizon customers from Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. local time until Sunday, Feb. 11, at 10 p.m. local time.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, Feb. 12, at 10 a.m. local time.
According to Live Nation, more global dates will be announced at a later time.
Usher’s tour announcement comes ahead of his highly awaited ninth album, Coming Home, out Feb. 9 on mega/gamma, and his headlining Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show on Sunday, Feb. 11.
Coming Home will include Usher’s previously shared songs “Good Good” featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage, “Risk It All” with H.E.R., Standing Next to You (Remix)” with Jung Kook and “Ruin” featuring Pheelz.
“Good Good,” the album’s lead single, spent five weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
Coming Home will feature additional appearances by The-Dream, Burna Boy and Latto.
On May 4, Usher will headline the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. The star-studded festival will feature additional performances by Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and more.
Las Vegas is certainly familiar territory for Usher. In 2021, he launched his first residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. In the following year, he moved to Dolby Live at Park MGM, where he performed sold-out shows through last fall.
In other news, Usher is nominated in five categories at the 2024 NAACP Image Awards, including Outstanding Male Artist. He is one of the most-nominated artists at this year’s ceremony, along with Victoria Monét.
The 2024 NAACP Image Awards will air Saturday, March 16, at 8 p.m. on BET and CBS.
