It’s a rough week to be in country music PR as Monday night artist Chris Young was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Assaulting an Officer, and Resisting Arrest at the Nashville bar “Tin Roof”.
According to sources, Young encountered representatives from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission. Once their encounter ended, the agents moved on to the Dawg House bar next door. For unknown reasons, Young and his friends followed the agents to the second location.
Once there, Young confronted the agents and began arguing. The agents tried to leave but Young allegedly blocked their way and hit one of the agents in the shoulder. From there the confrontation continued to get more heated until officers placed Young in handcuffs. It is assumed that Young was intoxicated due to his bloodshot and watery eyes, and slurred speech at the scene
