Genre-bending act Luh Kel has released his new single, “You The One,” produced by JSHB and Nimorii.
Over a hard-hitting production, Luh Kel professes his feelings to a love interest, asserting they are the perfect match.
“It’s something about you, girl, that’s different when you with me / I can tell that you the one,” Luh Kel sings in the chorus.
“You The One” is the lead single from his upcoming mixtape, Head Melodies, set to arrive in November via MNRK Music Group.
“I’ve put my heart into ‘You The One,’ and I’m excited for my fans to experience it. I can’t wait for fans to hear my new mixtape Head Melodies,” says Luh Kel.
Head Melodies is the follow-up to Luh Kel’s 2020 project, L.O.V.E (Loss of Valuable Emotions). The project included the Queen Naija-assisted single “Want You.”
L.O.V.E. (Deluxe), released a month after the standard edition, featured four bonus tracks, including “Feen” featuring rapper Trippie Redd.
Luh Kel told Rated R&B in a 2020 interview, “Always from the jump, I knew ‘Feen’ was going to be a hit. I was in the booth with Scott Storch and we were just cooking up. We knew it was going to be a big song. When we were shooting the video, we wanted to capture that feeling of the highs and lows that come with love. And it was awesome shooting and recording with Trippie, he made the whole thing even better.”
