Kem Comes ‘Full Circle’ on New EP

R&B

Kem returns with Full Circle, his first music collection since 2020’s Love Always Wins. Named after his co-headlining 2022 tour with Babyface, the brand new EP features the love song “Stuck On You,” issued in February.

Full Circle is equipped with five songs, some of which could be described as his most energized. Kem enlisted the talents of his long-term collaborator Derek “DOA” Allen, along with Babyface, D’Mile, Poo Bear, Kim Owens and many more.

“The Best Is Yet To Come!” is a groovy inspirational, finding the balladeer glowing in a path full of present and future blessings.

Ty Dolla $ign, currently a co-star on Monica’s new single, joins Kem for the vibrant title track, all about pondering if a dissolved romance will boomerang. Rick Ross sports his gentle gangsta persona on “Right On Time,” a cut suitable for the sophisticated lounge.

As mentioned above, Kem’s Full Circle includes “Stuck On You.” In April, the sentimental anthem went to number one on both R&B radio and Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, becoming his eighth number one. Kem now ties with Maxwell and Charlie Wilson for the most chart-toppers among male artists.

Full Circle comes months after Kem and Babyface ended their successful Full Circle Tour, which comedian Sherri Shepherd hosted.

In September 2021, Kem expanded his 2020 album Love Always Wins with two additional songs. The original version featured the two number one singles, “Live Out Your Love” with Toni Braxton and “Lie To Me.”

Love Always Wins ranked at No. 13 on Rated R&B’s best R&B albums of 2020 list.
