Elhae Releases New Song ‘Know’

R&B

Elhae celebrates Black Music Month, citing R&B legend Joe as inspiration for his new single “Know.” The North Dakota native gave way to its influence on his Instagram Stories, also mentioning the involvement of heavyweight producer Eric Hudson (Mary J. Blige, John Legend).

Making usage of Joe’s 1999 classic “I Wanna Know,” Elhae’s sentimental tune hears him making his woman feel like a queen. He showers her in sweet gestures, ultimately working to unlock different parts of her heart that the last man couldn’t.

“Girl, every time I lay down / You be in my dreams / You taking me to places that I’ve never seen / And you ain’t gotta worry, girl / I’ll take it slow / Lay you down and show you everything I know,” Elhae sings.

“Know” adds to Elhae’s frequent year of releases. In April, he dropped the song “FYF” and linked up with Asiahn for the remix of “What She Wants” from a special edition of Big Femme Energy, Vol. 1. He also got called on for Without You,” a collaboration with rapper Price.

Back in April 2021, Elhae released his most recent project Aura III. The 11-track set included the Rick Ross-assisted “Fun Fact,” the breakup anthem “Separated” and the Masego-featured “My City.”

Elhae had plans to tour the record later in the year but canceled it. He’ll make up for lost stage time at Lollapalooza 2022 on Friday, July 29, in Chicago.
