Iman Nunez is so New York on his new single featuring DJ Steph Cakes and produced by Mike Kuz and Rondon.
Shot by TwentyTwoTime, the black-and-white depicts the Yonkers rapper unleashing his gritty bars while venturing through the city including the subway, perched fire escapes, and the streets of Chinatown.
“Northeast” came about wanting to represent lyrical ability being from Yonkers, NY,” says Iman. “Wanting to just have that moment of reminding those who may have forgotten or introduce myself to those that are just finding out. With the addition of another Yonkers native DJ Steph Cakes, it just elevates the record that much more represents our city.”
The track arrives following Iman’s previous release, “Minimum Wage”.
