Kendrick Lamar Announces New Album

After over five years since his previous album, Kendrick Lamar will finally return May 13 with his much-anticipated and fifth studio album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

Under the new alias, oklama, the multi-platinum and Grammy-award winning rapper made the announcement Monday (April 18) through his new company, pgLang. This will be Kendrick’s final album on TDE.

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers will mark the Compton rapper’s first album since his 2017 highly-praised album, DAMN.. The LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts and received a Pulitzer Price the following year.

Since then, the Oscar nominated artist musically collaborated with the likes from Busta Rhymes to Baby Keem. Earlier this year, Kendrick announced a new film, performed at the Super Bowl halftime show, and is set to headline Rolling Loud Miami 2022 on July 24.
