Will 4*Town make their live performance debut at Coachella?

Billie Eilish and FINNEAS wrote the music for 4*Town, the fictional boy band featured in Disney and Pixar’s Turning Red, including the songs “Nobody Like U,” “1 True Love” and “U Know What’s Up.”

The first weekend of Coachella officially kicks off Friday (April 15). The brother-sister duo are set to headline Day 2 this Saturday (April 16), and again the following Saturday (April 23). Could this mean the voices behind the animated boy band might drop a surprise performance at the festival?

It looks like there’s a possibility!

On April 10, FINNEAS sent 4*Town fans — who call themselves 4*Townies — into a frenzy with a single tweet.

“Should we bring 4-Town out at Coachella?” he tweeted alongside a poll, which 91.8 percent of people responded “Yes” to.

Furthering the speculation, Disney even retweeted his tweet.

4*Town consists of Robaire (Jordan Fisher), Tae Young (Grayson Villanueva), Aaron Z. (Josh Levi), Aaron T. (Topher Ngo) and Jesse (Finneas O’Connell).

“Writing the songs has literally been the most fun we’ve had writing,” Eilish said in a music featurette about creating the three tunes alongside her brother. “Mei and her friends’ passion for 4*Town, it really resonated with me just because I was the same. It’s so accurate of how it feels when you’re that kind of fan.”

The fictitious boy band even have their own merchandise currently being sold at Disney theme parks. They’re so popular that their merch has reportedly sold out on more than one occasion.
