Leven Kali Releases New Song ‘EEK’

R&B

If you need Leven Kali to relieve feelings bottled in at any time, get a few drinks in his system. He’ll tell all, at least he does on his new single “EEK.”

Like a running faucet, Kali doesn’t shy away from pouring out his aching heart about a failed romance to a comforting and open ear who’s supplying him one drink after another.

The warm, liquid tones of the production, in which he co-produced with Robin Hannibal, aided him nicely in dumping his wounded emotions into the lap of this person’s paying close attention to his confession.

“EEK” is the first solo song from Kali since the release of his HIGHTIDE project, which came out in May 2020. It served as the sequel to his 2019 effort Low Tide

Since releasing HIGHTIDE, Kali has issued videos for a few cuts, including “Homegirl” featuring Smino and Topaz Jones.

Kali also took time to co-write and produce Jazmine Sullivan’s song “Tragic.” It appears on Sullivan’s Heaux Tales, Mo’Tales: The Deluxe project.

Starting March 10 in San Diego, California, Kali joins KYLE’s I Miss U Tour as a special guest. Tickets are available on Kyle’s official website
