Lion Babe (Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman) beam throughout the video for their song “Radiant Child.”
Collaborating with Charlotte Sclapari on the video’s direction, the duo are found in a bamboo forest, beginning with an emotional Hervey crying and aiming her tears into the camera lens.
Goodman explores the forest, only sitting down and being stoic as the video progresses. However, by the video’s ending, he regains his composure and reunites with Hervey.
Ahead of the “Radiant Child” video release, Lion Babe dished out remixes to songs from their most recent album Rainbow Child, including the Trinidad James-assisted “Get Up,” “It’s Okay,” and most recently, “Frida Kahlo.”
Other guest appearances on Rainbow Child included Ghostface Killah (“Rainbow”) and Siimbiie Lakew (“Signs”).
