August Alsina Remixes Muni Long’s New Single ‘Hrs and Hrs’

R&B

August Alsina has ended his music sabbatical with a remix of Muni Long‘s current viral single “Hrs and Hrs.”

Everything about this slow and steamy track stays intact until Alsina adds a new verse, insisting that he gains supernatural abilities from his boo’s love box.

“I wish the day was more than 24 hours / With every extra minute / Girl, I would be lost in it / Kissin’ you all over every inch / I won’t stop until you’re moanin’ / More, more, more, more, more hours,” he sings.

Their pleasurable voices are later intimately intertwined, making it impossible for already repeated listeners not to play it back again and again.

In an exclusive interview with Rated R&B, Long revealed how her song “Hrs and Hrs,” from her most recent project, Public Displays of Affection, came to life.

“I decided to listen to some tracks while I was washing dishes. This one came up, and I just started freestyling… I think I wrote the song in maybe 20 minutes,” Long explainedShe added, “It’s probably my favorite song to sing live. It’s just so beautiful.”

Public Displays of Affection came out in November 2020. Long appeared on Elijah Blake’s new album, The Neon Eon, that same month.

Alsina last released music back in July 2020. The song “Entanglement” was released following a Red Table Talk conversation sparked by his close relationship with acclaimed actress Jada Pinkett Smith.

Before its release, Alsina dropped his latest album, The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy.

In 2021, Alsina gained seven new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America, including a platinum award for his debut album Testimony
