Monica Joins Yung Bleu on New Song ‘Family Feud’

R&B

Monica has teamed up with Yung Bleu for his new track, “Family Feud,” from his new EP, No, I’m Not Ok

The mellow, guitar-driven song is based on a relatable story where family partner disapproval is running rampant in Bleu’s current situation. However, he’s unfazed by the madness, aiming to please his girl in the bedroom when they connect.

Monica is torn between listening to her relatives and holding him down, especially after he’s declared to her that “I can’t get this feeling from no other b*tch.”

Trenches, the next album from Monica, remains highly anticipated. She hinted that it is complete in an online post this summer.

She also revealed plans to release a country album. Brandi Carlile is one of the contributors on the LP dedicated to a genre she has admired since childhood.

“I felt like this was a great time for me to really step into an area that I’ve always admired and loved,” she told Billboard. “We’re just getting started, but I have so enjoyed it and been welcomed with open arms.”

Monica said in a recent Instagram post that her long-awaited Apple Music radio show, Mo Talk, is on the way with iconic basketball player Shaq making a guest appearance. The show was previously slated to debut in fall 2020.
