Dallas Coyle (ex-God Forbid) Resurfaces with New Project, SVSPVRP

Metal

Former God Forbid guitarist Dallas Coyle (brother of current Bad Wolves guitarist and former God Forbid bandmate Doc Coyle) has launched a new musical project, SVSPVRP (pronounced “sus-purp”).

The project sees Coyle combine metallic guitars and grooves with hip hop production and rapping. Fans of Coyle’s work in God Forbid will find some familiar sounds here in the way of Coyle’s trademark singing and vocal harmonies as well as, of course, his guitar work. But the overall sound is much more broad, with a host of new influences readily apparent as well.

SVSPVRP’s Soundcloud features two tracks with over 50,000 plays and one over 100,000. Coyle has just dropped a new music video for the latter, “Not Right Now,” which you can watch below.

It’s great to see Dallas making music again. Looking forward to hearing more soon!
