Mariah Carey Releases ‘Fall in Love at Christmas (Remixes)’

R&B

Mariah Carey isn’t just the Queen of Christmas, but also the Queen of remixes. The music icon has released a set of remixes for her latest festive track “Fall in Love at Christmas” with Khalid and Kirk Franklin.

The three-pack remix bundle features upbeat versions of the holiday tune, including Arlo Remix, Cutmore Remix and Moto Blanco Remix.

In October, Carey released her Joy To The World EP, which contained seven different mixes of the holiday staple that appeared on her 1994 album, Merry Christmas.

Speaking of Merry Christmas, Carey’s modern-day classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” lifted from that album, was recently certified diamond by the RIAA. It has sold more than 10 million equivalent copies, becoming the first holiday song to achieve this feat.

“The continued love for my song never ceases to amaze me and fill my heart with a multitude of emotions,” Carey said in a statement.

“It blows my mind that ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ has endured different eras of the music industry. The RIAA DIAMOND award?! Wowww! I’m so fortunate to have the greatest fans on Earth, my Lambily, who continue to support my legacy. I love you.”

On Friday, Carey premiered her holiday special, Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues, on Apple TV+. It features Carey’s first and only performance of “Fall in Love at Christmas,” along with Khalid and Franklin.
