Chlöe Slays the 2021 MTV VMAs Stage With ‘Have Mercy’

R&B

Chlöe did not come to play at the MTV Video Music Awards tonight. She shut down the Barclays Center stage with the first televised performance of “Have Mercy,” a new song that she co-produced with Murda Beatz.

The booming superstar’s high-energy set was filled with tons of sexy dance moves alongside a legion of rump-shaking beauties.

Arriving with a music video last week, “Have Mercy” is the first taste of Chlöe’s future solo album, on the books to come sometime soon via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records. She smoothly transitioned from Chloe x Halle with the innovative remake of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” in June.

Chlöe has more performances lined up. In October, she is tapped to play at H.E.R.’s Lights On Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
