Adrian Marcel Returns With New Song ‘I Gotchu (End of the Day)’

R&B

After a brief hiatus, Adrian Marcel makes his return to music with the new song “I Gotchu (End of the Day)” his first single since last year’s “NoWhere.”

With this relaxed, reassuring midtempo, the Oakland, Calif. native tells his lady how he will do all the necessary things to make her feel loved and protected.

Speaking on the meaning of “I Gotchu,” Marcel stated, “This song’s for everyone that has experienced love at any and every level. It speaks on the sides of love that not everyone on the outside looking in sees.”

He added, “This song describes these experiences using unconventional and edgy metaphors. Love doesn’t always mean romance, yet if it’s real, it’s worth dying for in most cases.”

“I Gotchu (End of the Day)” is the mark of a new era for Marcel, with his eyes set on a solid comeback this fall. He released his last album 98TH in 2019, and it included songs “Slow Burn” and “The Way.”
