Godzilla Vs. Kong Has Hit A Titan-Sized Box Office Number

As far as its commercial placement among its fellow MonsterVerse movies goes, Godzilla vs. Kong performed much better than its immediate predecessor, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which made $386.6 million worldwide in 2019. However, 2014’s Godzilla and 2017’s Kong: Skull Island are still the cream of this franchise’s box office crop, with the former pulling in a little over $529 million and the latter pulling in $566 million. After nearly four full months of availability, it’s doubtful Godzilla vs. Kong will catch up to the first two MonsterVerse movies, but its current total still isn’t anything to sneeze at.
