New Edition Signs to CAA, Readies 2022 U.S. Tour and Las Vegas Residency

R&B

A legendary R&B reunion is on its way. Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has inked all six members of New Edition — Ricky Bell, Bobby Brown, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe, Johnny Gill, and Ralph Tresvant — for representation in all areas worldwide. Included under this umbrella of representation is efforts regarding theater, literature, TV/film, production, composing, and touring.

Speaking of touring, it has been teased that the influential R&B group will perform their greatest hits on a 30-stop arena tour across the nation in 2022. New Edition also has plans for a Las Vegas residency next year. However, official dates and tickets have not yet been announced.

Over the course of New Edition’s decades-long career, the multi-platinum-selling band has issued countless albums, including projects released as solo acts. As a result, an abundance of accolades precedes this recent announcement, such as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and BET Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.

The same year, a historic 29 million viewers tuned during the premiere week for their BET three-part biopic The New Edition Story.
