The 2022 Something in the Water Festival is taking place June 17-June 19 in Washington, D.C. For those unable to attend, Amazon Music is streaming the festival live on its Twitch account.

The three-day festival features performances by R&B acts such as Usher, Ashanti (with Ja Rule), 6LACK, Chloe x Halle, Jon Batiste, Lucky Daye, Mariah the Scientist, Sabrina Claudio, Snoh Aalegra, Syd, Teyana Taylor and many more. Pharrell will also hit the stage with some special guests.

Pharrell shared the significance behind his festival in a statement. “SOMETHING IN THE WATER is a Black solution (LOVE) for a systemic issue, and this year we are taking our celebration to a higher platform – the nation’s Capital during Juneteenth Weekend,” he said. “We want to show the world that there is SOMETHING IN THE WATER across the whole DMV and I want to continue to bring awareness to the greatness within these communities and invite large corporations to show up for the people.”

Muriel Bowser, mayor of D.C., added, “If you’re celebrating music, if you’re celebrating Black excellence, if you’re drawing attention to the people who have dedicated their lives to knocking down barriers and uplifting our communities — then there is no better place to do that than in Washington, D.C. We are proud to be working with Pharrell to bring SOMETHING IN THE WATER to D.C. for Juneteenth weekend. D.C. is open and we are ready to celebrate.”
