A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit filed against H.E.R., as well as DJ Camper, Justin Love and Sony Music Entertainment, over the 2016 song ‘Focus’. First filed in June 2020, the complaint alleged that ‘Focus’, taken from H.E.R.’s self-titled 2017 LP, intentionally infringed upon Andre Sims’ original composition ‘Endless Minds’ without consent or compensation.

The writer/producer of a recent movie starring Body Count frontman Ice-T was shot and killed this past Thursday night (August 19) in New York City. According to The New York Post, Joseph “Taheim” Bryan, age 50, lived in Jackson Heights, Queens. Equal Standard, his action film about racism in the NYPD, was released last May.
