Wendy Williams Cries Over Health & Financial Struggles In New Documentary Trailer

Wendy Williams is opening up about the struggles she faced during her absence from the screen in a new Lifetime documentary.

In an emotional trailer released Thursday (February 1), the media maven confessed she has “no money.”

The two-part documentary is set to air on Lifetime on February 24 and 25, according to The U.S. Sun. However, the outlet claims Lifetime deleted the trailer just moments after release.

Williams left her beloved talk show in 2021 after 12 seasons amid declining health. Her manager reported various spells in rehab, and accused her team of “enabling” Willaims. The upcoming documentary sees Wendy Williams break down in tears at various points through the taping.

The documentary also addresses Wendy Williams’ battle with alcoholism and her mental and physical health. Multiple segments show Wendy struggling to stand or walk unaided, while one scene sees her discuss visiting a neurologist “to see if I’m crazy.”

The talk show host’s son said that his mom makes it seem “like everything’s OK.” However, “in reality, there’s something wrong going on.”

In one scene, Wendy Williams accuses the people around her of “stealing money from me.”

In an interview last year, Kevin Hunter Jr. said he believed his mother was “being taken advantage of” by the people around her. He also stated that his mother is seemingly not “in her right mind.”

In addition, he claimed Wendy Williams was consuming alcohol at an abnormal rate.

“It’s gotten to a point where yes, it could have that effect that it might be fatal,” Hunter Jr. stated. “Because it affects her way worse than a normal person since it stays in her system.”
