Video Premiere: Goetia – ‘Naturam Demonto’

Metal

Washington, D.C. death metal crew Goetia have been crushing it since popping up a short time ago, releasing their self-titled EP in 2023 and their new EP, Tomb Essence, today. To go with the drop, Goetia unveiled the video for “Naturam Demonto,” the first track on the four-song EP.

There’s nothing fancy about “Naturam Demonto.” Rather, Goetia have a firm grasp over the genre, firing off high-speed riffs matched by a tight rhythm section and almost blackened vocals. Paired with the lo-fi style video, there’s a lot to get into about the new video and EP.

“Making the video was so much fun, and it turned out great,” Matt Scott, Goetia’s lead vocalist & bass player, told Decibel. I really think Frank captured our energy. We can’t wait for everyone to check out the video out and hear the new EP.”

Tomb Essence is out now on Heavy and Fast Recordings.
