Washington, D.C. death metal crew Goetia have been crushing it since popping up a short time ago, releasing their self-titled EP in 2023 and their new EP, Tomb Essence, today. To go with the drop, Goetia unveiled the video for “Naturam Demonto,” the first track on the four-song EP.
There’s nothing fancy about “Naturam Demonto.” Rather, Goetia have a firm grasp over the genre, firing off high-speed riffs matched by a tight rhythm section and almost blackened vocals. Paired with the lo-fi style video, there’s a lot to get into about the new video and EP.
“Making the video was so much fun, and it turned out great,” Matt Scott, Goetia’s lead vocalist & bass player, told Decibel. “I really think Frank captured our energy. We can’t wait for everyone to check out the video out and hear the new EP.”
